Samsung i450, Symbian Phone with HSDPA

Samsung has prepared some interesting S60 mobile phones for a future release, including the i450, i550 and i570. We have heard before of the last two models, but the i450 phone seems to have sprung out of nowhere.

Samsung i450 looks
quite simple and user friendly, exactly what this device eventually turns out to be. Its colors are quite friendly and look excellent for a less demanding handset. Moreover, it has slightly rounded corners and easy to use keypad buttons, which makes the device comfortable to handle. Its design is far from being elegant, but will prove to be perfect for those looking for something that will not stand out, but won't be too dull either.

The fact that it is a S60 device running third edition will make it appealing to many people, although it is not the sole feature bound to attract users. The handset manages to pack HSDPA performances, which makes it possible to reach high data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps.

The phone comes equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. That will fail in providing images at a stunning quality, but will be just the right thing for capturing memories and important personal events. Pictures will display at a fairly good quality on the 2.3-inch display screen, due to the 320 x 240 pixels resolution and the 262 k colors.

There is also a secondary camera, for placing high quality video calls, as to make the best of this phone. Those looking for entertainment in their handsets will also be happy to know that Samsung i450 includes a videoplayer and audioplayer. The phone also features Bluetooth and USB connectivity, as most evolved devices do. Moreover, the 1GB of internal memory space will also be backed up by a microSD card slot.

No information on the exact date or on the price that Samsung i450 will come at have been revealed until now. More official news should come with an official release.

Nokia 8600 Luna official pics

Here is a picture posted on mobile-review forums, that its suppose to be an official picture of the upcoming Nokia 8600 Luna. The Nokia 8600 is a Quadband phone and will support GPRS/EDGE data connection, will have a 2 megapixel camera and use micro USB connector.

A delay on the iPhone?

Could the Leopard delays mean delays for the iPhone as well? iSuppli analyst Jagdish Rebello seems to think that this may be the case. According to him “we’re hearing it’s mostly an issue with the complexity of the device.”

The problem does not appear to be hardware-related, which would be why they pulled software engineers from the Leopard project. Everything seems to be on track with the hardware, as the component manufacturers are still slated to deliver their individual pieces on time.

It is likely that whatever issues were found cropped up late in the testing phase, since they probably didn’t pull the Leopard engineers until just recently. Whatever the case may be, even though there may be a delay for the iPhone, it is likely to still launch in late June. So that raises a good question. Can it really be considered delayed if it arrives at the end of June? We’ve not heard an actual confirmed launch date from Apple, for all we know their intention could have been to release it at the end of June all along.

Unique Visitors May Not Be So Unique

When website visitors are tracked, either for the purpose of calculating audience size or to keep track of the number of advertisements you are serving, one of the most interesting metrics to look at (at least traditionally) is the number of unique monthly visitors to your content. According to a study released by ComScore today, however, your unique visitors may not be unique at all.

Most services that track web metrics count unique visitors by using cookies. According to ComScore's study, these internal web analytics softwares will on average over-count your audience by 250%. Which means that your audience is actually 150% smaller than you think it is - based on the numbers these analytics packages give you. What's worse is that if you have a technology-savvy audience (i.e. majority of the seo, smo, smm, audience) then your audience maybe overstated by a factor of 1,250% per month! The latter of the two facts is because technology-savvy computer users delete cookies quite frequently and therefore,

These 'serial resetters' have the potential to wildly inflate a site's internal unique visitor tally, because just one set of 'eyeballs' at the site may be counted as 10 or more unique visitors over the course of a month. The result is a highly inflated estimate of unique visitors for sites that rely on cookies to count their audience.

Apple TV Gets Broadcast Marketing; Microsoft Still Doesn't

Looks like Apple gets convergence marketing for Apple TV (as expected), maybe Microsoft wants to take a hint from this commercial and apply it to all of there offers.

This is, in my opinion, the biggest problem with the platform. It’s not the lack of SoftSled, it’s not that CableCARD requires you to buy a new PC, it’s not limited codec support on Extenders. It’s the fact that people don’t know what they have or what they can do.

I personally have never seen anyone pay $2500 for a blog post, so I decided to do a quick interview with Shoemoney.

Answer: I have gotten tapped 4 times to do paid reviews by ReviewMe.

Question: So far it seems you have only done 1 paid review, why did you turn down those other 3 inquires?
Answer: Basically I turn down anything that is not related to making money online, affiliate marketing... For instance, of the 3 I turned down 2 were for travel websites and 1 was an insurance site.

Answer: I think this is more of a question for the person purchasing the review. Eventually I blog about most great products and sites related to mine but if you are looking for a faster track then buying your way on my site could possibly be a great deal for you. It's kind of like with search engines, yes with SEO you have a chance to someday show up at the top for a keyword but for a price they will sell you exposure.

If you are to truly take advantage of all socially driven sites have to offer, you need to focus on presentation. How you present yourself can take you long way, and here's how to do it right.

So how do you create the perfect title?

The word "web" is quite obviously a sign that a web-based or web-related service is more tuned to the interests of the crowd.

The words "pictures" and "video" tell us that it is often better to use these mediums to present information in a quicker and more appealing way than just paragraphs upon paragraphs of text.

And lastly, the word "free" is self-explanatory. Just keep in mind that free is a tactic, not a business model.

More Xbox 360 Elite Details Float Up

The San Jose Mercury News' Dean Takahashi has a bit more details on the rumored Xbox 360 Elite edition.

Game Informer had already reported that the new, black 360 would come with a 120-gig hard drive and HDMI out and sell for $479.

Takahashi adds that the new 360 will habe IPTV capabilities, something I suggested would make sense, and that the new design will also implement the a chip redesign, shifting from 90 nanometer to 65 nanometer, resulting in a significant drop in cost to Microsoft.

Takahashi adds that he thinks the introduction of the new 360, which will be produced in limited quantities, will not effect the price of the current core or 20-gig models.

I suspect that this new model will hit in April, with official word coming as early as next week. I also wouldn't be surprised that if consumer interest shifted to the newer model, that Microsoft drops the price on their current models by this holiday season. Brian Crecente
